We won’t lie and say we weren’t excited when we heard that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – who are currently expecting their second child – signed a deal with Netflix to produce everything from documentaries to feature films to scripted TV series and even to children’s shows.

And now we have information about the very first series that they – or rather, their production company Archwell Productions – will be working on… and it couldn’t be more perfect!
According to reports, Archwell Productions will be taking on a documentary about the Invictus Games, the sporting competition that Prince Harry founded back in 2014, entitled 'Heart of Invictus'.
Prince Harry reportedly helped to set up the Invictus Games after seeing first-hand how sport could help people physically and mentally after illness or injury after a trip to the US back in 2013.
'Heart of Invictus' will follow competitors as they prepare for the 2022 games in the Netherlands, and will even feature appearances from Prince Harry – who is still a patron of the Invictus Games Foundation – himself. How exciting!
So what else do we know? Oscar-winning duo director Orlando von Einsiedel and producer Joanna Natasegara, who worked on the likes of The White Helmets and Evelyn, will be working on the documentary, so we have high hopes already!
“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve,” said Prince Harry – who will also be executively producing the documentary – in a statement.
“This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.
“As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service.”
The documentary will also provide a lot of funding for the Invictus Games Foundation, and Netflix’s involvement is undoubtedly expected to shine a light on the games in a way like never before…
"We’re very excited about the opportunity to shine the global spotlight of Netflix on the men and women that we work with, in order to ensure that even more people can be inspired by their determination and fortitude in working towards their recovery,” said Dominic Reid, chief executive of the Invictus Games Foundation.
"This partnership will also bring in significant funding to the charity. We are extremely grateful to our Founding Patron for his continued efforts to support the military community, and for making this partnership happen,” he added, in reference to Prince Harry.
We think this is a great first project for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and can’t wait to see Heart of Invictus when it finally comes out!

Who cares. Meghan is a C-list actress and narcissist. She accuses others of racism even though everyone, including her own family know her to be a selfish grifter. I don’t understand why Harry would infect the royal family with this average looking classless tramp.
